The location you choose must be zoned for the type of business you wish to operate. The Village Zoning Code defines several zoning districts, each with varying requirements for allowable businesses. You should consult the Zoning Code or contact Zoning Administrator Randy Reddick for help determining what commercial, construction or signage permits may be needed for your business.

SIUE Entreprenuer Center
By assisting entrepreneurs and companies in defining their path to success, the SBDC network at SIUE positively impacts the region by strengthening the business community, creating and retaining new jobs, and encouraging new investment. The SBDC provides assistance to individuals through counseling, research, and advocacy for new ventures and existing small businesses.
RiverBend Growth Association
The RiverBend Growth Association is responsible for conducting Community and Economic Development activities in 11 municipalities located in Northwest Madison County and Southern Jersey County in Illinois. It has information on multiple Industrial/Business properties.
