Village Trustees


Jeff Mull was born and raised in Bethalto. A 1986 graduate of Civic Memorial High School, Jeff received an Associate in Science from Lewis and Clark Community College. The father of three, Jeff’s civic duties include a long tenure with the Bethalto Boys and Girls Club.                                        


Gary D. Bost is a lifelong resident of Bethalto where he was a 1983 graduate of Civic Memorial High School. He received an Associate in Applied Science from Lewis and Clark Community College in 1985. He worked for the Madison County Sheriffs Office for 20 years, retiring in 2016 as the jail superintendent. He is currently employed as a data analyst working for the DEA St. Louis Division. Bost has been involved in many community development projects including 8 years as program director with the Boys and Girls Club and several years with American Legion baseball. Gary and his wife Kim live in Timberwood Estates Subdivision. They are the parents of two sons and have three granddaughters.

Dan McRae - Q215


Dan McRae grew up in Meadowbrook and attended Civic Memorial High School. Dan attended Rockhurst College and holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the State University of New York. His career has been in the Paperboard Packaging Industry, starting at Alton Box Board Company in the early 1970’s. He retired as Regional Sales Manager with Caraustar Industries. Dan and wife Susan returned to the area in 1999 after having lived in the Chicago suburbs for many years. They have three sons and 7 grandchildren.


Brady Dugger is a lifelong citizen and contributor to the community. A 2001 graduate of Civic Memorial High School, he attended Lincoln college and Southwestern Illinois College studying construction management. He was the Bethalto Boys & Girls Club Youth of the year in 2001. Brady and his wife Tiffany have three children, Ellie, Evan and Brenna. Brady is a member of the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals and construction manager for Dugger Swimming Pools, his family-owned, Bethalto-based business operating for more than 50 years. Brady is also a member of the Knights of Columbus.


David Gibbons is a 60-plus year resident of Bethalto and a CMHS graduate. He has owned and operated an insurance agency in Bethalto since 1980. He and his wife Brenda have been involved in numerous civic programs through the years as Bethalto residents. They have two children and three grandchildren and reside on Fairway Drive in Bethalto.

Brady DuggerBRIAN BUHS

Brian Buhs was born and raised in Gibson City, a small community outside of Champaign, Ill. He moved to Bethalto in 2005 and lived here until 2010. During that time, he joined the Bethalto Fire Department, attended Allied Medical College in Maryland Heights, MO and graduated with an Associate in Applied Science. Brian and his family moved to be closer to family in 2010. After being away from the area for three years, an opportunity presented itself to move back. Due to his love for the community, Brian and his family moved back to Bethalto in 2013. Immediately upon moving back, Brian rejoined the Bethalto Fire Department, where he currently serves as a Captain. Brian has also served as a member of the Village Zoning Board. He is employed as a Hazardous Chemical Technician for the Lemm Corporation at the Wood River Refinery. Brian enjoys camping, hunting and many outdoor activities as well as spending time with his wife Jessica and children, Kennedy and Beau. He is also a member of First Baptist Church, Bethalto.
